By installing a laptop and doing all the up-to-day routine I found myself facing an original error: when installing Internet Explorer 7 systematically I got an error, an error as listed in the newspaper 4373 events:

Refer to Help and Support sections for more details. The following information is part of the event: Internet Explorer 7, ie7, can not write registry key configuration.
To resolve this problem, I opened a console and enter the following command line:
secedit / configure / cfg% windir% \ repair \ secsetup.inf / db secsetup.sdb / areas REGKEYS
If in doubt then I restarted, and retried the installation of IE7 which then ran.
