Integrate SP1 and up-to-day to install Office 2007

It is very easy to integrate Service Pack 1 and up-to-day following the installation CD of Office 2007, just have to copy some files.

Here is how to integrate Service Pack 1:

1. Download Service Pack 1 for Office 2007 here in a directory on your hard drive, eg C: \ SP1.
2. Copy the contents of the CD to install Office 2007 on your hard drive, for example C: \ 2007.
3. Rename the file in Service Pack 1 sp1.exe for convenience.
4. Open a DOS console and type the following command:

C:\SP1\sp1.exe /extract:C:\SP1\Extract

This command lets you decompress the SP1 installation files in the directory C: \ SP1 \ Extract.

5. Copy the files from C: \ SP1 \ Extract to the directory C: \ 2007 \ UPDATES.
6. Burn a CD with the contents of C: \ 2007.

In general, any up-to-day present in the \ UPDATES installation of Office 2007 will be installed automatically. It is therefore possible to visit this page and download every up-to-day and repeat the steps above.
